Family Anchor is fully committed to the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). We act as an "Operator" or "Responsible Party" depending on the context of the data processed, but we always prioritize the privacy of the South African families we serve.
Information Security
Scoped Records
Record access is controlled by authenticated membership, relationship scope and permission rules.
Recorded Activity
Supported permission changes and record actions retain history. Not every read or download has an access log.
Child Permissions
Village access uses explicit child-category grants that parents can revoke.
Child Data Protocols
Special care is taken when processing information concerning children. Such data is only processed with the required consent or legal justification under the Children's Act and POPIA Section 35.
